Tax Extension

Need Extra Time to Complete Your Tax Return?

Due dates for:

1040 returns, Sole proprietorship and single-member LLC tax returns on Schedule C (with the owner’s personal tax return): April 15th
Partnership returns on Form 1065 with Schedule K-1 for each partner: March 15th
Multiple-member LLC returns on Form 1065 with Schedule K-1 for each member: March 15th
Corporation and S corporation returns on Form 1120 S with Schedule K-1 for each member: March 15th

First, for new clients, file for a tax extension using the choices below, THEN come to us after April 16th with your STUFF!

  PA accepts the federal extension.
Both IRS and PA ask that you pay what you think you owe.
  MAKE COPIES!

If you think about it, this is a “Catch-22 situation”. Since the necessary data is not yet available, a lot of taxpayers make that amount come out to zero, OR use the prior year information, and then pay the consequences of penalty and interest later.

Note:  PA accepts the IRS extension.  There are no PA or IRS interest charges if you were due a refund before April 16th .

FOR PRESENT CLIENTS WHO NEED AN EXTENSION OF TIME – WE WILL FILE THE IRS EXTENSION FOR YOU… JUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE OF THE DUE DATE.
